The FDA announced final approval of Detroit-based Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories’ ANDA for baclofen tablets, 10 and 20 mg. The drug is a muscle relaxant and antispastic, and the manufacturer claims it can alleviate signs and symptoms of spasticity (including flexor spasms and concomitant pain, clonus, and muscular rigidity) resulting from multiple sclerosis.
